Denis Leyendecker is the son of a retired cabinet maker. He grew up in a home
physically connected to the cabinet shop, so it was inevitable that he would work
with wood. After high school he started building pole sheds and within a couple
of years he was working for a residential contractor. Eventually, he was hired
on as a framing foreman by a large-volume home builder in the St. Cloud area.
In 1986, Denis moved to Rochester where he did subcontracting work both as
a frame and trim carpenter. For the past fourteen years he has been a general
contractor in both the Rochester and St. Cloud areas. Our oldest son Adam is now employed as the jobsite manager.
Denis is married and the proud father of four children, all of whom contribute
to the construction process. You might meet them at the jobsite doing clean-up
work or they might be working behind the scenes at the computer typing up specifications
sheets.
Giving back to the community is something Denis takes very seriously. It is
also one of his biggest passions. In addition to sponsoring several youth sports
teams, Denis gives of his time, talent, and treasure to his church, the school
system, and other worthwhile non-profit organizations.
